Karate school

I am not one to write reviews but I can't say enough about Fusion MMA. The structure of the Jiu Jitsu program is top notch. Instead of randomly working on skills they designed the program to make sure each student understands the basics of the Martial Art before moving on. They also have done this with me for the past year in a safe and positive environment. Jeff, Ian, Kyle, and all of the instructors are great teachers and super knowledgeable. Can't recommend enough. Time to join.

Training with Sensei Jeff has improved my karate skills a lot, I have been training with him for about two years and I can feel the difference. He has a nice teaching style that makes you bring out all the energy you have and keep going throughout the class. Really great instructor, very highly recommended.

My wife and daughter go to Danforth Karate Academy and they love it. The instructors have integrity, are professional AND fun. When we enrolled my daughter into the school I wanted to make sure she would get the right balance of discipline and fun - basically not be scared off by it - and I can't believe what she is capable of doing and it's not even been a full year yet!Her confidence levels have boosted, she is becoming more agile and aware, stronger and disciplined. She also gets to take the family class with her mother - you can't beat that anywhere. Hands down I'm so happy they are being mentored and guided by the instructors at DKA - no gimmicks - straight up Karate.

I wanted to learn self-defence over the summer and decided to take up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing. After visiting and trying out several martial arts dojo in Toronto, I chose InnerCity MMA because of the positive atmosphere, the downtown location, and the bargain price. InnerCity MMA provides a warm, nurturing, ego-free, fun, and friendly training environment. Professor Franco is an extremely experienced and tremendously knowledgeable martial arts practitioner. All belts are earned and this is not a pay-for-belts scheme.Renshi Fernandes' understanding of traditional karate and practical applications are second to none.What you'll find:Student/Instructor Ratio - 5:1 most nights. Some nights it's a private lesson.Quality instruction - Proper technique is emphasized and curriculum is adhered to.This is not a daycare. This is a serious martial arts school. If you are seeking discipline and focus for your child, this is the place.This is a traditional karate school. No backflip, spinning heel kicks to Mortal Kombat music will be seen or taught here.

Great location, training and staff.

I have both my boys attend after school program and all camps available. I am very happy that I have this services in my neighbourhood. I like the dojo, it is clean and well equipped, Staff is very kind and very helpful. My kids attended several tournaments and were able to win 1 and 2 places. They like their friends that they gained.Will definitely continue to bring my kids.

We love Kenzen! My daughter has been attending for 4 yrs. So great to watch the growth in her abilities and confidence. Highly recommend!
